Steps taken to manufacture paper cups:
- Manufacturing paper cups start with a flat cardboard that is equipped with a thin film of plastic.
- The thin plastic layer is strongly bonded with the paper to prevent cups from leaking or going soft.
- Papers are unrolled into a printer with a huge lane.
- As the Paper weaves through the machine, printing cylinders lay an image on the paper one color at a time.
- When images are complete, papers are cut into “blanks”, each blank will become one paper cup.
- When blanks are stacked and collected, another line of paper go under production for the bottom.
- Blanks are layered to form a paper cup shape and sealed.
- Now you have a paper cup with no bottom, bottoms are added to cups by heating the layers.
- Top edges of paper cup are adjusted for drinking without spilling
A widely used product in our daily lives, manufacturing paper cups have been originally introduced for the purpose of preventing the transmission of diseases and other hygiene issues. Paper cups are of course made out of paper and then are lined with plastic layers to prevent any leaking and soaking.
